The standard questions:
The questions you get asked, answered from your data every night.
Each question is answered the same way on every account, with its own data sources and rules. Adella adds new questions over time, with no update needed on your side.
One question a week on the free plan. All of them, as often as you like, on the paid levels.
Why did sales drop in September?
Net sales were $182,400 against $212,900 in August, a drop of $30,500. Three things explain most of it.
Every figure links to its source. Illustrative account.
The eight:
Why did sales move, and what caused it?
Net sales this period compared with last period and with the same period last year, broken into the causes: promotions starting or ending, budget changes, tracking gaps, products out of stock, price changes, new competitors, seasonality. Each cause gets a dollar figure. The three largest come first.
How is Google Ads performing, and what should change?
Spend, revenue from your store's real orders, and profit after cost of goods, by campaign and by month, compared with last month and with the same month last year. Then the changes to make, largest dollar effect first.
The same review for Meta.
The same review, plus the things that matter on Meta: how often people see each ad, reach, the learning phase, delivery problems, tired creative, and the gap between what Meta claims and what your store recorded.
Is traffic quality good enough, and how do we improve it?
Visits, engaged visits, conversion rate and revenue per visit by traffic source and landing page. The sources that send visitors who never buy are named, with what they cost you.
Where do new customers come from, and how do we get more?
First orders by channel and campaign, the cost of each new customer worked out from your own orders rather than the platform's claims, and the campaigns that are paying new-customer prices to bring back people who already buy from you.
What role did discounts and promotions play?
Orders with a discount code compared with orders without, average order value for each, margin after the discount, and whether the promotion created new sales or only moved sales you would have made anyway.
What does the same period last year tell us?
This year compared with last year, with the changes that explain the difference, so a seasonal dip is not mistaken for a leak and a leak is not written off as seasonal.
What should the plan for the period be?
Targets by channel, limits on spend, the changes to make first, and what each one is expected to return, written so you can approve the whole plan at once.
Any other question:
Ask anything else.
Ask anything about the account in plain language. The answer is worked out from the same data, with every figure linked to its source, and nothing in your accounts is changed. Ask a follow-up and the answer updates. The eight questions above have their own data sources and rules. Every other question runs through the same engine with the same safety rules. The rules.
