Promises and alerts:
“I'll send it by Friday” becomes a tracked promise the moment you write it.
Promises in your outgoing messages are picked up, tracked until they are kept, and raised before they are late. Around them, six alerts catch the things that lose clients.
Promise tracking and alerts run on every connected mailbox.
Three items need you today.
Nothing is sent until you send it. Illustrative clients.
How it works:
How a promise is picked up
“I'll send the proposal by Friday” becomes a promise you owe, due Friday, with the sentence it came from. A client's “we'll have the brief to you Monday” becomes a promise they owe. When it is not sure something is a promise, it leaves it out rather than guess.
Tracked until it is kept
When a later message keeps the promise (the proposal goes out), it is marked done by itself. Otherwise it stays open until you close it, and it is marked late the hour it falls due.
The six alerts
A client who has gone quiet (no email from them in 7, 14 or 30 days, depending on the client). A late promise. A promise due within 24 hours. A change in a client's tone over their last five messages. A problem in the numbers that was flagged days ago with no message to the client since. A renewal within thirty days that nobody has discussed.
Where the alerts arrive
In the app's notifications, and by Slack direct message during work hours when it is urgent. Each alert is sent once. Snooze it for a day and it comes back.
